Founded by Iraq war veterans in July 2004 at the annual convention of Veterans for Peace (VFP) in Boston to give a voice to the large number of active duty service people and veterans who are against this war, but are under various pressures to remain silent.

International organization made up of military veterans, military family members, and allies that are dedicated to building a culture of peace, exposing the true costs of war, and healing the wounds of war.

Devoted to the cause of non-interventionism and is read by libertarians, pacifists, leftists, "greens," and independents alike, as well as many on the Right who agree with our opposition to imperialism. Contains statistics, news stories, additional resources, and more.

Despite the U.S. military's concurrent and costly entanglements, the streets of Washington are pretty much protester-free. The lack of noise and the apparent nonchalance raises the question: Where have all the protesters gone?
