The PINE Project is a program of the Maine Department of Education. The DOE partnered with Maine-based nonprofit I'm Your Neighbor Books to bring a collection of books to each school in Maine. The program also includes professional development around how to use these books with students.
The official PINE Project Welcoming Library is housed at Wentworth. Any student or staff member may borrow there books. Many of the books are also available in individual school libraries. We also hold many titles from the larger Welcoming Library collection. Please see the list on this page for more information.
